Perfect Meat Pies

I lived in Australia for 6 months when I was a freshman in high school, I decided to take a cooking class because 1. I love to cook and 2. I wanted to see what kinds of foods Australians made. The first thing that we made was meat pies an Australian and British favorite. Here's how I make them.


What you need:
1 lb Hamburger
2 Packages of puff pastry
Cupcake tray 12
1 tbs parsley
1/2 onion diced


1) Preheat oven to 325 degrees
2) Brown hamburger in a pot add onion, and parsley.
3) Roll out puff pastry when defrosted and cut out 12 big circles and 12 small circles.
4) Lay the big circles on the bottom of the cupcake trays put meat mixture in,  Cover the top with the small circles and use a fork to press the edges in. poke the top with a fork 2 times
5) Put in oven and bake for about 13-15 mins or until light brown.
6) Let cool and then take out of the cupcake tray, you can eat them plain or with ketchup on them,  They are delicious either way.
